Hands from Home is an inter-parish service week that will empower teenagers and their families to serve others while socially distancing themselves. The purpose of the event is to unite teenagers and their families across the Dallas Diocese through works of mercy. We will have a virtual kick-off July 12th and families will complete service projects at home July 13th-17th.
Each parish must have a parish leader register through this form. Then we will send you more information and a link for your families to register individually. Most information will be sent directly to the group leader. Individual participant sign-ups will be used to send out the invite to the virtual kick-off and for basic information about how families can log their service projects once completed.
Hands From Home will provide service ideas and virtual resources to help families serve others from their homes. Group leaders are expected to remind families to follow social distancing protocols while completing their service projects.
Our goal is for 1,000 service projects to be completed safely by families from at least 30 different churches in the Dallas Diocese! Thank you for helping in our goal of strengthening connections through faith and service!
