Job Description - Mundelein Stroller Strides Instructor
FIT4MOM® instructors carry out excellence in the instruction of Pre and Postnatal Fitness classes. They offer safe, fun and inspiring workouts to new moms.
FIT4MOM Greater Northwest Chicago Suburbs is looking to bring on a Stroller Strides instructor to be compensated at a flat rate of $20 per class plus instructor perks. Position available at our Bloomingdale location, teaching on-site in-person at Stratford Square Mall on Saturdays at 9:00 a.m. as well as subbing for other Stroller Strides classes as available. Position start date is October 1, 2021 or upon applicant's availability. This is an independent contractor position and requires the following:
Job Summary/Expectations:
• FIT4MOM® instructors are expected to teach classes in the approved FIT4MOM® class formats while still keeping classes varied and fresh
• Comfortable providing fitness instruction/leading fitness classes for women with small children present (infant - toddler age)
• Able to engage with children during class while providing clear and safe exercise direction to mothers participating in class
• Working knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology and physical fitness training methods
• Self market and promote classes
• Personal physical strength, endurance and flexibility
• Exhibit enthusiasm for Stroller Fitness classes and for fitness
• Customer service attitude at all times while representing the program
• Provide positive feedback and encouragement to all levels of participants
Requirements:
• FIT4MOM® certification, other national fitness certification, or degree in an Exercise Science
• Adult, Child & Infant CPR Certification (in-person assessment required)
• Liability Insurance (up to $1,000,000)-Provided by F4M GNWCHI
• Complete all requirements to be certified through FIT4MOM® Corporate
• Complete CEC Requirements as necessary
