Come and see Budapest from a perspective that you have never done so! During this evening hike, we explore the forests of the Buda hills in the dark with the help of our headlamps. We visit three lookout points that amaze us with exceptional panorama to the city center by night. We climb up to the Elizabeth lookout at the highest point of Budapest to look over the whole city and admire it with all its night lights, bridges, historical buildings, and famous meetings points. On our way we also pass through a tiny limestone cave, and cross the line of the Children's Railway in the deep dark forest.
If you don't have your own headlamp and need one, we can provide you one for 2000 HUF.  

Both the starting and the end points of the hike are easily accessible by public transport from Széll Kálmán tér.
Széll Kálmán tér --> Normafa with bus 21A ~25 minutes
Szépjuhászné --> Széll Kálmán tér with buses 22/22A/222 ~20 minutes

The hike starts with at least 10 participants
We can accept a maximum number of 20 people.

Difficulty of the hike: 7,5 kms – 175 ms elevation gain
Easy hike, no hiking experience is needed, but the trail is rocky at some places, so you should be comfortable to walk on uneven surface.

• A pair of comfy shoes that you can walk a whole day in

The leader of the hike is Gyuri, who is an experienced and certified hiking & tour guide.
Please note that the trip will also be held in bad weather conditions. We believe that nature keeps you some magic in any conditions. If it rains we take our raincoats on. The hike will be cancelled only in case of thunderstorms or in case the COVID rules require.
