2019-2020 6th Grade Orchestra Registration
The Grassland String Orchestra is offered to all Rising 6th Grade students. There is no experience necessary to join Orchestra at GMS, but students with experience are also encouraged to join! Over the course of the year students will learn the basics of how to play the violin, viola, cello or bass in a String Orchestra setting.  

Students have the opportunity to select the instrument they are most interested in at Grassland Glimpse (Wednesday, May 29th), over the summer or the first week of school in August. Students are encouraged to attend Grassland Glimpse so they have the opportunity to meet Ms. Abell and other students interested in Orchestra, as well as try all the instruments!
