SIB-Groningen and the Human Mobilities and Migration Lab at the University College Groningen are proud to announce that on 30 March, 2023, we will welcome Human Rights Defender Madi Jobarteh.

Mr. Jobarteh will introduce the human rights situation in the Gambia and his work for, among other things, transparent democracy, civil society and womens and girls rights. Therefter he will have a conversation with the attendants about the importance of human rights over a drink.

The event will begin at 20.00 and takes place in Café the Crown
