Important Information
Thank you for your interest in the Brick by Brick Brigade to Nicaragua, organized by the Friends of the ATC solidarity network. All interested individuals must complete a brief application by (new deadline) January 12th, 2023 to be considered for participation in the brigade. (Note: If you'd like to apply after this date, please write us an email at info.friendsatc@gmail.com.) The brigade will take place April 27th-May 6th 2023.

This brigade will take place in one of Nicaragua's most revolutionary and beautiful towns: Esteli, known for being "three times heroic" in the Sandinista struggle for national sovereignty. This delegation will visit and get their hands dirty with workers and farmers of the ATC, the organization that represents the people who grow the country's food, and a founding member of the international movement La Via Campesina.

As part of the Friends of ATC's "Brick by Brick" campaign, the brigade will help put the finishing touches on the mural at the local ATC Federation's new auditorium, which will be inaugurated as part of the ATC's 45th anniversary celebrations. Brigadistas will also exchange with families and work at the ATC's nearby agroecological farms, plus visit experiences in organizing tobacco workers.
