SC Hands & Voices 2023 Mingle Sign-Up
SC Hands & Voices is working to build a support community for families with D/deaf or hard of hearing children in South Carolina.  Please feel free to join us for one or more family mingles across the state of South Carolina in the Upstate, Midlands, Pee Dee, and Lowcountry areas.  

Our mingles are designed to be a supportive, fun, low-stakes environment where families of children (of all ages, birth to young adults) can come together and get to know one another.  Registration is not required but helpful so we can keep in touch for future events and to help plan refreshments and activities.   

Note 1: Event plans are constantly developing so please check back often for additional mingles dates/times across SC. Don't see a mingle in your area? Email schandsandvoices@gmail.com with a recommendation for a new mingle location in your area!  Interested in other DHH events? Visit SCDHHEvents.org for events from other agencies. 

Note 2: Please use the following link to register for Topic Tuesday 2.0 events. This is a monthly webinar series that includes ASL interpreters and captions for educational/social support meetings for parents of children who are D/deaf or hard of hearing. Topic Tuesdays will take place every third Tuesday of the month from 7PM - 8PM. Each presentation will be half an hour with time for Q&A and a casual parent chat at the end.

Note 3: Please use the following link to register for SC State Museum Accessibility Saturdays.  This special monthly program provides access for families of children, teenagers, and young adults who would benefit from a sensory-friendly experience and quieter setting at the museum.
