International Student Film Festival - STIFF invites artists to submit their works to the international exhibition as part of the supporting programme of the festival.

We invite you to analyze and consider the concept of escape in the broadest possible sense - the need for freedom and change, travel, forced escape, migration, and all methods and reasons for leaving and breaking free from restrictions.

What are we running away from, and how? What are we leaving behind? How do the changes affect us? What are we aiming for if we decide to move away from the current way of life, socially set norms, and familiar environment? Is the escape purely physical? What is the potential of art and artistic expression in challenging times? We are also interested in works through which we will deal not only with the physical, emotional and psychological aspects associated with the concept of escape, but also with the social implications associated with this topic, through which we will emphasize the importance of empathy and solidarity.

The eleventh edition of STIFF will be held from November 21 to 23 in Rijeka.
