Stigma Free Experience Conference Speaker Application

The Center for Creative Arts Therapy is hosting the second annual Stigma Free Experience Conference! 
Wednesday, October 9th - Friday, October 11th, 2024
Hilton Oak Brook Hills Resort

Thank you for your interest in presenting! Our application process is open through March 8, 2024. Speaker selections for 2024 programming will be made by April 12, 2024.

OUR ATTENDEES: Our conference attendees include business owners, CxOs, senior executives, directors, HR professionals, nonprofit leaders, managers, and individual contributors at companies of all shapes and sizes. The one unifying attribute? Regardless of role and title, our attendees are passionate about creating psychologically safe workplace cultures and supporting our movement towards building more creative, brave, and healthier workplaces.

OUR SPEAKERS: Our organization places a high priority on identifying and selecting speakers who actively engage their audience in interactive and impactful ways. They possess varied intersecting identities, come from diverse backgrounds and offer a spectrum of perspectives for our audience to explore.

SPEAKING POLICIES AND LOGISTICS: While we do not offer monetary compensation or travel accommodations for speakers, we provide accepted speakers with two (2) free conference tickets. We also allow our speakers to promote their company's brand during their presentations and distribute marketing collateral within their assigned room.

HELPFUL TIPS: When completing the application, please note:

1. You cannot save your application within this web form. If you'd like to keep a personal record of your application, we recommend saving a copy of your responses in a separate location (i.e. MS Word).

2. Multiple applications are allowed. If you'd like to submit multiple speaking topics, please complete a separate application for each topic.

3. All speaking sessions are 50 minutes in duration.

4. Trending topics among our audience includes:
- Mental health at work
- Data-driven employee wellness strategies
- DEIB buy-in and implementation through a mental health lens
- Team building and remote workforce engagement
- Corporate Social Responsibility
- Mitigating employee burnout
- Organizational resiliency, agility and change management
- Emotional Intelligence in the workplace
- Influencing cultural transformation as an individual

5. We select speakers who provide concrete, actionable takeaways for our audience, emphasizing the practical tools and steps to enact change within their own organizations. Less theory, more action!
