THE SHIPPENSBURG SCURRY is a collegiate bike race weekend, April 30 - May 1, 2022. We need A LOT of awesome volunteers to make it happen. (I mean, we'll take slightly-less-than-awesome ones too; we're not that picky.)
The events:
Saturday, April 30, 8:00 - 10:00, Individual & Team Time Trials
Saturday, April 30, 10:30 - 5:00, The Horse Killer Road Race
Sunday, May 1, 8:00 - 3:00, SU Campus Criterium
We need the most help on SATURDAY, but will also need a few extra hands on campus Sunday.
Our volunteers help with lots of things, but we primarily need course marshals. This means we give you an orange vest and flag, send you to specific intersection of rural country roads, and you alert oncoming traffic to the presence of bike racers...when there are bike racers.
We've organized the work into shifts (see below).

(There will actually be lots of food for our volunteers--and lunch, if you're around during lunch time. We take care of our volunteers!)
