2025 Centurions Bernard Powell Award Nomination Form

Since 1980, Centurions Leadership Program has, in Bernard Powell’s memory, recognized alumni who demonstrate outstanding leadership, deep commitment to service and clear passion for the improvement of the Greater Kansas City area. The recipient is selected by a committee of those who previously received the award.

CRITERIA: Award recipient must demonstrate active involvement in:
•Projects that have positively impacted the Greater Kansas City area
•The Centurions Alumni Association, and/or the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce

RECIPIENT RESPONSIBILITIES: Recipients are asked to speak at the Annual Alumni Meeting (date TBD), present the Bernard Powell Award to the 2026 recipient at the Annual Alumni Meeting, and participate in the selection meetings in following years.

Please note that this is a one-part nomination process, and nominees are not asked to complete a follow-up application. This nomination is the sole component that the selection committee will be reviewing.
