The WYA Ethiopia Solidarity Call is a webinar planned and hosted by World Youth Alliance Ethiopia Chapter. The webinar is inspired by the writing of Mahatma Gandhi “Satyagraha: Not Passive Resistance”. As we believe love and non-violence are the true nature of human beings. This webinar aims at discussing the virtues of becoming a satyagraha in present times and to give hope to youth in Ethiopia in light of the conflict and strife that has taken place in the country. This event will equip participants with the deep understanding and skills of standing against injustices in a peaceful and non-violent way. Participants will recognize the obligation to live in harmony and peace through their community by making a conscious choice to oppose, promote and make their voices heard without the use of violence.
