Shutesbury Holiday Shop Application Mailing List
Well hi there!  It looks like you would like us to send you a note when our application goes live in August.  We would be happy to, but please read through the information below first, and tell you a little bit about where you live and what you create.

What is the Shutesbury Holiday Shop (hint, no booth spaces)?
  • The Holiday Shop is not a craft fair with booth spaces.  It is a once-a-year three-day pop-up consignment gift shop and an amazing community event!
  • 2024 dates are December 6th, 7th, and 8th.
  • The Holiday Shop Organizing Team is a group of three local artisans who have been doing this together for over ten years. Our first Shutesbury Holiday Shop was in 2012.
  • We focus on local!  See below for a list of towns we accept applications from.
  • Applications are juried by the Team using a set of criteria that includes geographic location, quality, and craft balance.
  • Consigners are required to sign an agreement, complete an inventory form with descriptions and pricing in advance, and follow all participant rules.
  • There is a consignment fee of 15% plus credit card fees when applicable.
What we DO accept:
  • The Shutesbury Holiday Shop welcomes application from creators who are from Shutesbury, one of the neighboring towns (Pelham, Wendell,  New Salem, Leverett) or are Shutesbury Athletic Club (SAC). members. The Shutesbury Holiday Shop is not affiliated with the SAC, but we extend our invitation to their members since they are generous with their facilities and volunteer support.
  • Work must be good quality, and hand-made, authored, or performed by the individual submitting the application.
  • Diversity and inclusion are important to the Shutesbury Holiday shop. We welcome creative work that relates to any of the seasonal holidays celebrated around the world or none at all. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, age, sexual orientation,  or gender identity or expression.
What we DO NOT accept:
  • Repacking of commercial or bulk products (including food)
  • Items made from kits
  • Third-party sales or re-sales
  • Creative work that needs a lot of sales work.  If you need to be with it for sales to happen, this is not the event for you.
  • Items subject to trademark or copyright infringement.
  • Any work which is derogatory, racist, misogynist, offensive, or discriminatory in nature. We will ask consigners to remove any such work from their inventory should it be brought for sale.

If this sounds good to you, please fill out the pre-screening information below.
