 I understand that being a part of the GDC Competition Team is a big commitment both financially and also with time.  I understand that my child has been chosen for a GDC Competition Team, and this is top priority over all other activities for other things such as Sports and Extra Curricular Activities, and agree to not miss classes during ANY and ALL blackout weeks that are listed on my calendar. The only acceptable exception would be due to illness that would require an absence necessary to maintain the health of other students and faculty. *

 I understand and agree attendance requirements for classes, choreography, rehearsals, company photo day(s) and recitals as well as all competitions and conventions are mandatory. *

I understand that GDC Company is a 12 month commitment and it is required to pay full tuition for all 12 months of the year & Summer Training is required for students auditioning for the upcoming season. *

I will follow payment policies of all tuition, costume, competition and any other required company fees. I understand that Tuition is due on the 1st of every month and additionally there is a payment structure for Costume and Competition fees. I agree that payments will be made on time. A valid credit card will need to be kept on file and I understand that it will be charged in the event I do not make timely payment(s). *

I understand that all deposits & payments including costume fees are non‐refundable. I agree that if I must leave my team at any point during the year,  I will not receive refunds for tuition, costumes or competition fees paid in to the 2021-22 season. *

I understand that GDC may offer fundraising opportunities (including but not necessarily limited to Kiwanis) and that participation is optional. Although individual accounts may be credited, I acknowledge any unused fundraising/donations are the property of GDC and in the event I am unable to complete the season those remaining funds will be forfeited.   *

I understand that if at any time I am unable to honor the GDC company commitment due to illness, injury or any other unforseen circumstance, it is my responsibility to provide all dance costumes to the understudy(s). *

I understand that competitions/conventions MAY require a hotel stay and I acknowledge it is my responsibility to handle personal hotel reservations and payment to that venue. *

I understand and agree that all group and team placements are final and not up for discussion with GDC faculty and/or staff.  Requests for number of group dances, duet/trios and solos are not guaranteed. *

I understand that if my child is offered the opportunity to compete a solo, I may choose any choreographer from the approved list provided in the Company Packet. However, any requests for choreographers not already included on this list MUST be approved by Miss Trish PRIOR to reaching out to that choreographer or beginning any routine. *

I agree that all group, solo, duet and trio dances are the property of GDC and may not be competed under another studio or as an Independent during 2021-22 season. *

I confirm that I agree with and accept all of the above key requirements and guidelines. I understand that failure to comply with these agreements and policies may result in being asked to leave the Gotta Dance Company Competition Team. *
