Square Roots Veggie Sale                                Saturday, May 4 Pre-Orders
Complete this form to place your order and help us gauge how much food to get for the next sale on Saturday, May 4. Unfortunately, we can't guarantee enough supplies to sell if you are not already on our expected list.

Please pre-order by 1 p.m. on Monday, April 29.  We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, May 4 between 10 a.m. and noon at St. Luke's in Upper Tantallon to collect your order.

Square Roots veggies are all seconds, too big or too small for the grocery stores.  But, they are grown in Nova Scotia and still delicious to eat. What's offered changes each sale but usually our bundles contain potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, apples, onion, squash, cabbage or beets.

Our volunteers bundle them so each bag weighs 10 lbs.  Sold for $10 a bundle, $7.50 if that is what you can afford or free for those Food Bank clients and those in need.

Sales are usually held twice each month on Saturday mornings, typically in the Lower Hall. Remember to bring cash and your own cloth bag.  Everyone is welcome.

This is a volunteer-run program and new helpers are always welcomed as veggie packers or sale assistants.  For more information or to join us as a volunteer, please email: squareroots@stlukesunited.ca or contact the church office 902 826 2523.
