Other On Campus Recruiting Opportunities
On-campus recruiting is a great way for employers to connect with UMD students. There are 3 main types of on-campus recruiting opportunities besides job and internship fairs at UMD:

On-Campus Interviews
Schedule on-campus interviews for UMD students through GoldPASS powered by Handshake. You have the ability to screen candidates and pre-select those you wish to interview. We encourage you to consider students from as broad a range of majors and degrees as the internship or job description allows. We are confident that as you make your selections, you will fully support our commitment to Equal Employment Opportunity policies.

Career Connections
The C&IS Office is located in UMD’s Solon Campus Center, a high traffic area for students of all majors. Employers will table outside our office to promote their company while also providing professional development opportunities for students, such as resume reviews, mock interviews, etc. The Career Connections event will be promoted to students on GoldPASS powered by Handshake.

Employer Info Session
Arrange to host an information session prior to a recruiting visit. This is an excellent way to promote your company on campus and describe career opportunities within your organization. We find that these types of events see the best student attendance when scheduled the late afternoon or evening before your participation in an on-campus job and internship fair.

Please indicate which types of event(s) your organization might be interested in:
Thank you!
