CONFINTEA VII: European follow-up discussion
CONFINTEA VII, the seventh International Conference on Adult Education, took place on 15-17 June 2022 in Morocco. A major event for adult learning globally, it asked UNESCO Member States to commit to new priorities and objectives to further Adult Learning and Education. The Marrakech Framework for Action (MFA), adopted at the event, is a civil society success story and a result of advocacy work led by the International Council for Adult Education and actively supported by EAEA. Now is the time to hold Member States accountable and to make sure that the commitments made in the MFA do not fall by the wayside.

Please join EAEA and ICAE at an online discussion to share ideas on how civil society in Europe can advocate the implementation of the MFA in their countries.

Before the event,  we kindly ask you to reflect on the following questions:
- How could the MFA be implemented in your country?
- What priorities and recommendations of the MFA do you find most important?
- What actions could civil society take to raise awareness of the MFA and the CONFINTEA process?
- How can ICAE and EAEA support you in your advocacy efforts?
