Welcome to the EMDR workshop for Female Survivors of Military Sexual Trauma ( MST) Group. This is a two day workshop running Sat 9:00am- 4:00pm and Sunday 9:00am - 4:00pm. Date TBA. Members will participate in the EMDR process (butterfly hug or tapping) completing the protocol six times over the course of two days while following the direction of an EMDR therapist and the EMDR team. The benefit of being in this group are connecting as a community and desensitizing panic, anxiety, flashbacks, intrusive thoughts, sleeplessness and other negative symptoms caused by MST. The team is led by Crystal Arber a registered social worker and certified EMDR therapist/consultant and Eve Wilensky a registered clinical counsellor, certified EMDR therapist and Trainer. Day one you will complete the process three times and day two you will complete the process three more times. You will not be asked to talk about what happened to you and this will be discouraged as the protocol does not require talking about the trauma in any way. This protocol is known as the IGTP- OTS protocol developed by Dr. Ignacio Jareo. The protocol has been researched to be beneficial for those suffering from ongoing traumatic stress. This protocol has been deployed all over the world over 200 times in war, disaster, critical incidents, illness and more. After completing this protocol six times, symptoms of trauma are reduced and in some cases completely eliminated. If you would like to register please answer the questions below.
