2024 Link Crew Leader Application: Due Friday, May 3, 2024
Thank you for your interest in being part of the 2024 - 2025 Link Crew team. You may choose to complete this form, OR create a video that answers the questions below and send the video to Mrs. Laws at mlaws@lgsuhsd.org.

 Before you apply, please know attendance and participation in the below events are MANDATORY.  Please make sure you are available to attend these events before you apply.  

    May Development Day:  Wednesday, May 29, 2024 during Tutorial. Location TBD

    Link Leader Training:  
          Thursday, Aug 8, 2024 from 9am -1pm
         
    Freshmen Orientation:  Friday, Aug 9, 2024 from 7:30am to 2:00pm (or earlier if everything is cleaned up fast!)

Attend the Homecoming Reveal/Food Truck Fest on Friday 8/16/24 and invite your freshmen to attend with your Link group!

 First Day of School: Tuesday, August 13, 2024; wear your Link Crew shirt and help 9th graders with directions and  questions

   Link Leader Follow-up Meeting: Tuesday, August 27 during Tutorial, room 704.

   Back To School Night (Date TBD, ~5:30- 7:30pm): help guide parents to classrooms.

    Be Available for Follow Up Activities at Lunch or in Tutorial throughout the year. 1-2 activities per month
       
      Check in with your freshmen via text or in person every other week. Suggested prompts for these interactions will be provided!

*A Link Crew Commissioner is a leader amongst Link Crew Leaders, and is responsible for planning Link Crew training day, Freshman Orientation Day, and Link Crew Meet ups throughout the year. They still work with a small group of freshmen on Freshmen Orientation Day and throughout the school year.  Commissioners must commit to following through with planning, promoting, and carrying out these events.
