On behalf of Island Wraps and Caribago Designs; we would like to present the opportunity to participate in the upcoming Artist Call for the celebration of Women in music starting March 8th.
Women are the driving force behind the cultivation of nurturing life. Through the vibrations of the musically inclined woman, society lives on graciously.
Your artistic participation to help recognize these iconic women in society is greatly appreciated. We would like to enlighten the community to continue to raise more awareness for Women as a whole and specifically in the area of music influences.
Vision & Submission Theme:
Immersive Art Inspired by the lives of women that stimulates us to this day in a category that most of us cannot live without, music. From Jazz to Gospel, Reggae, Salsa, Rhythm & Blues, and more! What woman's natural melodic voice, movements or overall vibes have impacted your spirit in such a positive way that you'd like to artistically convey them or it? All 2D form of expression are accepted.
About the Event
The Honor Thy Women Artist Call for 2024 brought to you by Island Wraps and Caribago Designs. This event will be located at Island Wraps, 5152 East River Rd., West Henrietta, NY 14586.
Come and experience the Art of Women in music through visual art expression. Selected works will be on display from March 8th to March 31st. All Works on display at island Wraps are available for purchase and will be subject in a 35% retainer fee. This fee will go towards the Curation, marketing and physical handling labor of the art work for the live presentation.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Featured Artisan: Artists may submit up to 2 pieces (For larger pieces, please contact us at write.caribago@gmail.com) 35% of artisan sales will go towards the organizers and the efforts required to make this show a reality behind the scenes.

- Artists are encouraged to be there in person; however, international and out-of-state artists are encouraged to submit as well.
- Digital Submission is allowed and encouraged; however, art that is larger than 11"x17" or A4 size will require a minimum $25 printing & finishing fee prior to the hanging of your piece(s).
- Opening Ceremony Night will occur on Friday, March 8th.
Become a Sponsor: Companies, Organizations, and or Individuals can donate monetary funds for the betterment of the project and choose where the fund are allocated to through the following ways:
- Printing/Framing Costs
- Print Giveaways
- Advertisement for the show
