Public Comment Being Accepted Regarding Section 7.0 Revisions of the Standards and Guidelines

On April 8th, 2024 the Domestic Violence Offender Management Board (DVOMB) reviewed and approved revisions to Section 7.0 to be sent out for public comment. At this time, the DVOMB is requesting public comments on these proposed revisions. The Board is offering all stakeholders the opportunity to comment and the Victim Advocacy Committee will be reviewing the public comments at a future meeting in 2024. These changes are focused on clarifying the qualifications for Treatment Victim Advocates (TVAs), protections for confidentiality and privledge for TVAs, and some reorganization of the subsections. 

At this time, the DVOMB is requesting public comments on these proposed revisions. The Board is offering all stakeholders the opportunity to comment and the Victim Advocacy Committee will be reviewing the public comments at a future meeting in 2023 and 2024.

Public comments are considered anonymous and confidential and any identifying information will be removed when presented to the Standards Revision Committee and the DVOMB.
