Aunty's Child Care - Lakeside Location Wait List
I entered into the childcare business by chance! I cared for my niece for a summer, and in the Fall, the parents asked me to care for the baby. Out of this arrangement came a true passion for the care of children, both related by blood or related by love. In the first year of opening my family licensed child care facility in Spirit Valley, I knew this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.  For the past 10 years, I have worked weeks and weekends, scrimping and saving to make my dream of opening a child care center a reality. I am thrilled to announce that my dream of reaching more families and improving the lives of children in the community I serve is coming to fruition through Aunty's Child Care Center! The newly remodeled building at 4801 Cooke St in the Lakeside neighborhood of Duluth features four beautiful age divided classrooms for children to grow from infancy to school age! We are open M-F, 6:00 am to 5:30pm.

This is where you can officially sign up to be contact regarding care for your child. Please answer all questions to the best of your ability.

Our infant room, age 6 weeks to 16 months, has a capacity of 8 children
Our toddler room, age 16 weeks to approx. 33 months has a capacity of 14 children
Our prek 1 room, age 33 months to kindergarten, has a capacity of 20 children
Our prek 2 room, age 33 months to kindergarten, has a capacity of 20 children

Care ends when a child enrolls in school, we do not offer after school care or care on non school days for school agers.

Rates are weekly only, there is no 'part time discount'.
Infants, toddlers and non potty trained preschoolers - $265 per week (comes out to $53 per day)
Potty trained preschoolers  - $240 per week (comes out to $48 per day)

'Preschool ready' means the child is totally potty trained and at least 33 months old and we have a space in our Preschool room to allow them to move into. A child who still utilizes pull ups during the day is not considered potty trained. 

Notes for those of you requesting infant spaces: we are currently very full. I do not have an estimate on when we may have an opening. Priority placement is given to infants with an older sibling who will also be in our care, and we have yet to open a space to the public as currently enrolled families have kept us quite busy! You will not receive a call or email unless we have space. We do not tour unless we have space.
