What: St. Mary of the Falls EDGE & Life Teen will be participating in this event to raise their awareness AND COLLECT FUNDS FOR THOSE experiencing HOMELESS. Teens will sleep outside (no matter the weather) and collect money for those experiencing homelessness.
Who: Cardboard City is open to any teen in Middle (6th-8th grades) and High School (9th-12th grades).
When: 4:30PM Saturday, November 19th thru 12:30PM Sunday, November 20th
Where: OUTSIDE (no matter the weather) at St. Mary of the Falls
What You Should Bring: A Cardboard Box, Sleeping bags, blankets, pillows (if desired), board games, card games. NO electronics of any kind. We are also accepting donations of duck tape to hold our “homes” together and plastic drop clothes and tarps as protection from the elements.
How to dress: Dress in layers! We’ll be experiencing the environment just as the homeless do. We will cope with the weather we are given. Unless there is a safety risk to participants, the event will continue rain, snow, or shine!

his cost, along with any additional donations from outside sources will be most welcomed. We’ll be collecting donations at the church doors after all the masses and we’ll also be accepting “drive-by” street donations since we’ll be outside! All proceeds from this event will be donated to St. Benedict Joseph Labre Homeless Ministry (St. Ignatius High School) and the West Side Catholic Center.
