Little Rippers is for beginner level surfers in the 5 - 12 year old range, but we request that SOME level of experience is necessary to come along for example if they have done a couple of Surf lessons with Tutukaka Surf or similar. It runs every second Friday from 3:30 - 4:30 during school terms.  Parents are required to get in the water with their child or actively supervise from the beach if this is not possible.

Grom Squad is for intermediate surfers in the 10 - 18 year old age bracket.  it runs every second Friday from 4:30 - 5:30.
If your child is under 12 we request that one parent is available to supervise from the beach.

These programs are free for NCB members, but we can't guarantee there will be space available.  It is run by volunteers in their spare time.
Once we receive your expression of interest we will contact you in order to discuss your child's suitability for the program.
If the program is full at the time, this expression of interest will hold your place in the waiting line.
