Thank you for your interest in our Collaborative Problem Solving Tier 1 Training!
This 2.5 day, in-person training in Tier 1 is designed for parents, educators, clinicians, and other professionals who want to apply the Collaborative Problem Solving® (CPS) approach with the kids in their lives. This Tier 1 is being offered to parents. The training is being funded through the System of Care, so there is no cost to participants.
Participants will learn all three components of the CPS approach – assessment, planning, and intervention. Attendees are also exposed to the neurobiology behind CPS, and learn how CPS operationalizes the latest research on trauma-informed care. Tier 1 Training incorporates lecture, case studies, interactive role-play, video examples, and small group activities. The training also provides practical guideposts and materials to help participants use the model in their daily lives.
Participants must attend all three days of training in order to receive a certificate of completion.
Training dates and times: May 10th & 11th, 9AM-5PM & May 12th, 9AM-1PM PST
Location: New Hope Community Church, 1350 S Hwy 395, Hermiston, OR 97838
Lunch and snacks will be provided for this training.
