Workshop 1- Grant Writing (Week 2: Thursday, April 11 at 2:00pm - 3:00pm)
This workshop will help demystify grant and fellowship applications. Together, we will explore the qualities of successful writing in this genre. We will discuss audience and purpose, and we will learn how to integrate your research ideas and experiences into a compelling narrative. We will then apply these concepts to an example fellowship.

Workshop 2- Dissertation Writing Workshop Part 1 (Week 3: Tuesday, April 16 at 1:00 - 2:00pm)
Part 1: A Story Structure for Dissertations. These resources are intended for ABD graduate students, and each session is designed to demystify the dissertation. One thing that makes writing a dissertation so challenging is that, for most of us, it is our first (and only) time writing in that genre. The lack of familiarity with the genre often leads to confusion, procrastination, anxiety, and beyond. You can finish your dissertation! Learning more about both the product you are creating and the process it entails will help you get there.
