AMAAS exists to advocate, educate, and celebrate the media arts in Alberta.

VISION
The media arts in Alberta is advanced through the generation of awareness, strengthening of connections, and continuous advocacy. AMAAS builds a sustainable and vibrant future for media arts in Alberta.

DEFINITION OF MEDIA ART
AMAAS defines media art as independent artist initiated and controlled use of film, video, new media, audio/sound art and related media.Alberta Travel up to $500 for one Media Arts related trip within Alberta per year.

BIPOC: Up to $500 a year to complete a Media Arts project.

Continuing Education: Up to $500 for one person to take classes, workshops, conference in one year in Alberta related to Media Arts.

Rural Artist: Up to $500 for a Rural Artist (living outside of Edmonton or Calgary) to complete a Media Arts project.

Travel: Travel Costs up to $500 for one Media Arts related trip, within Alberta or Canada.

There are 4 types of bursaries to apply for, please tick the appropriate box below. For more information, read the description at the top of this form.
