9/20 Philly Climate Strike Participating Group Form
On September 20, three days before the UN Climate Summit in NYC, young people and adults will strike all across the US and world to demand transformative action be taken to address the climate crisis. In Philadelphia, we will take the streets to demand a right to a future, and we’re inviting you to strike with us.

When: Friday, September 20th, 2019, 11am-2pm

Where: City Hall, Philadelphia, PA

What: Rally and March for a Green New Deal!

This event is being organized by a coalition of both young people and adults from PA Climate Strike, Sunrise Movement Philadelphia Hub, Fossil Free Penn, Youth Climate Lobby, and 350 Philly. Our demand is for Philadelphia elected officials to commit to fighting the climate crisis by implementing a municipal Green New Deal. We want it to include:

    1) 100% renewable energy by 2030

    2) No new fossil fuel projects

    3) A just transition to a renewable economy
