Use this form to register as a referee for the 2023 Newtown Soccer Club Memorial Day Tournament

Completion of this form ensures that you have read and agree to all of the below rules. You are also attesting that the information entered is complete and true.

You will automatically be emailed a copy of this form upon submission. If you do not receive it, first check your spam folder, then please resubmit (an incorrectly entered email address is the most common cause).

If there are any changes to the information that you entered, you must resubmit the form in its entirety (only the most recent entry will be used). If you need to make changes after the May 1st cut-off, you must email nscassignor@gmail.com.

All efforts will be made to ensure crews are distributed and positions rotated when possible. If your assignments are on different fields, travel time will be accounted for in scheduling.

Referee registration will close on May 1st. Schedules will be sent prior to May 14th.

Referees are needed for Saturday May 27th, Sunday May 28th, and potentially Monday May 29th (rain date).

All Referees are required to be at the field, ready to officiate, at least 30 minutes prior to your first game time. Referee Crews are expected to check the field in between games.

All games will have 3 referees.

Pay rates are as follows:
u9/u10:     Referee - 30      Assistant Referee - 15      20 minute halves
u11/u12:   Referee - 35      Assistant Referee - 20      25 minute halves
u13/u15:   Referee - 40      Assistant Referee - 25      25 minute halves

Completed W9's must be received in advance of payment being issued. A blank W9 can be found here (https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw9.pdf) If you have not submitted a W9 to NSC in 2023, you can either email them to nscassignor@gmail.com or mail them to:

If you submit the details for your RefPay (ArbiterPay) account, you will be paid within 7 days of tournament conclusion. If you do not, you will be mail a check within 30 days of tournament conclusion.

All referees will be issued an event patch & coin at their first scheduled field. Lunch (pizza & water) will be provided at each field location.
