The Gordon Bradley Humanitarian Award acknowledges an architect who has given their time and energy to benefit society. Examples include serving on charitable boards, donating time to assist in humanitarian endeavors, providing guidance for individual growth, etc.
A candidate needs to have more than a term as a director or officer of a trade or professional organization on their resume, unless their leadership was instrumental in its community work over a period of time, or the involvement was in a specific and meaningful project.
Generally, the award shall be given for sustained effort and not for a single act.
