Thank you for your interest in Texas Brigades' Summer Camps program! Please read all instructions carefully:

We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are interested in learning more about the outdoors, wildlife and natural resource conservation, and who wish to share that interest with young adults. An Adult Leader serves as a mentor, counselor, and guide for five or six teenagers (13-17 years of age) as they progress through a five-day conservation leadership camp. As an Adult Leader, you are expected to participate in ALL of the activities in which the youth participate, some of which are PHYSICALLY DEMANDING. Physical activity will include team-building and leadership exercises, being in and outdoors throughout the day, walking/marching in Texas summer heat & humidity, walking through brush, wading in water, etc. If the kids are doing it - you will be too! Experience with wildlife, fisheries, and/or agriculture is not required.

• Rolling Plains Bobwhite Brigade (June 5-9 in Rising Star, TX)
• South Texas Buckskin Brigade (June 14-18 in Sinton, TX)
• South Texas Bobwhite Brigade (June 20-24 in McCoy, TX)
• Bass Brigade (July 14-18 in Santa Anna, TX)
• Ranch Brigade (July 20-24 in Santa Anna, TX)
• North Texas Buckskin Brigade (July 26-30 in Santa Anna, TX)
• Coastal Brigade (July 28 - August 1 in Galveston, TX)

APPLICATION DEADLINE: MARCH 15, 2020

Becoming an Adult Leader is a competitive, TWO PART process. You must complete this online application, as well as submit a background check (link will be sent to you directly) by the deadline for your application to be considered complete. Applications received by the deadline are pooled by camp and graded by a committee; the top 4-6 applicants are selected and notified of their acceptance by April 15th. Immediate family members of youth applicants may not be selected as an Adult Leader for the same camp.

At the end of this application, you will be asked to provide the names and contact information for two references (no family members, please).

Responses will NOT be saved if you leave this application page before submitting. If you do not receive a confirmation email from Google Forms within a few minutes of submission, your application was NOT RECEIVED.
