Racial Justice Team, Workgroup 3 Sign-Up

BWC's Racial Justice Workgroup for Legislation and Policy Change reviews Maryland state bills, federal bills, and DC legislation revolving around the issue of racial justice in order to determine 1-3 legislative priorities for the year. The group also works with partner organizations to raise awareness, to provide education, and to provide opportunities for action within congregations. Advocacy for priority legislation will include opportunities for letter-writing, phone calling, and meeting with elected officials.
