QBAS Executive Duties/Descriptions
Conference Chair (2)
The conference chair takes on a huge responsibility and works closely with the president of QBAS. The conference chair runs an additional weekly meeting with the conference team and is responsible for creating and running the entire conference (with the support of the entire QBAS exec). This position is ideal for someone who is looking for a large leadership role and has experience leading a small team to bring the conference theme to life. Some activities include; booking conference venue(s), creating a marketing plan, assembling delegate bags. For questions regarding the position reach out to Nakeisha Tulloch

Finance Lead
The Financial Officer is responsible for the committee's financial books and for all incoming and outgoing finances (i.e. donations, grants, fundraisers and all monetary transactions) belonging to QBAS. This duty includes keeping an ongoing expense report, an end of term/re-ratification statement, event budgets, grant applications and all necessary financial information and documents required by the committee and bank while maintaining transparency. In conjunction with the Co-Presidents, the Financial Officer has banking and signing authority on behalf of QBAS, thus requiring accountability.

Administration Officer
The Administration Officer is responsible for the organization and coordination between executive members, alongside the President. Tasks will include booking rooms, maintaining a Google a calendar of all upcoming events, and creating a Google calendar to coordinate the available times for Exec. weekly and general assembly meetings. In addition, the Administration Officer will be required to take meeting minutes and record the action items distributed and discussed at meetings.

Marketing Coordinator (2)
The Content Marketing Officer will be responsible for producing written content for QBAS marketing material. This includes, but is not limited to, creating descriptions of QBAS events, captions for Facebook/Instagram photos, etc. For questions regarding the position reach out to Anika Bather & Kizzy Johnson

Conference Coordinator - Sponsorship
The Conference Sponsorship Coordinator is responsible for attracting and securing sponsors, as well as securing grants for the conference. They will also be responsible for creating a sponsorship package and coordinating 1-2 fundraising events for the conference. Conference Coordinator - Delegates/Outreach
The Delegate/Outreach Coordinator is responsible for delegate registration and all conference participant dietary and accessibility accommodations. They are also responsible for attracting external delegates (non-Queen's delegates) and coordinating the accommodations and transportation for all external delegates, speakers, and other conference participants. Outreach Coordinator
The Outreach Officer is primarily responsible for external communication with other campus groups as well as the greater Kingston community.  The Outreach Officer is also in charge of the QBAS Black History Month events and works closely with the Kingston Black History Month Committee on this project. Graduate Representative
The Graduate Representative will be responsible for informing the graduate students about QBAS, relaying messages to graduate students about upcoming events and planning events directed at graduate students.

Events Coordinator (2)
The Events Coordinator (2) is essentially responsible for coordinating the logistics and details of QBAS events during the school. They are expected to attend all QBAS events they organize This includes but is not limited to: Real Talks, First Year Meet & Greet, and Study Halls. You are not required to facilitate every event.
