Social Media Influencer Campaign
We are looking for 4 Black Caribbean influencers from diverse backgrounds (with a large following among local Black Caribbean Manchester networks) who are confident talking about sexual health and want to enact change in their communities.

If you are vibrant, fun and confident enough to talk all things sexual health we are looking for you to join our campaign aiming to increase awareness around STIs, sexual health and tackle stigma around STIs within Black Caribbean communities.

Why is this campaign needed?
Statistics show that Black Caribbean individuals are disproportionately affected by STIs. This is a clear health inequality which must be addressed.

The role you will play:
We are looking for Black Caribbean voices to be at the forefront of challenging this statistic and as an influencer in our campaign you will be.

Breaking taboos and challenging stigma around sex and STIs:
Encouraging Black Caribbean individuals to priorities their sexual health by getting tested regularly, having open conversations about sex as well as using protection and prevention methods.

Motivating people to take charge of their sexual health and enjoy a safer and more pleasurable sex life.

Our ask:
Attend a briefing session to equip you with knowledge to empower your communities about STIs, increase engagement on your social media posts and familiarize you with the campaign.

In addition, we will provide you with a social media resource pack which you can tailor to your online image and audience.

4 posts (one a week) across the month of June 2022.

Use our social media posts across Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook .

At least one of the posts should be original content – for example, a story with a short video (up to 30 seconds) of yourself talking about the campaign, or a photograph of yourself. A suggested script will be provided.

Posts should tag @bha_for_equality (Instagram) @the_BHA (Twitter)  BHA_for_Equality and ‘The PASH Partnership’ (Facebook) or @GMPaSH (Instagram and Twitter).

At the end of the campaign we also ask that the analytics (number of views, likes, shares, comments, DMs) are sent to us via a screenshot. We will be covering this in the briefing if you are unsure about how to do this.

As an influencer you will be paid a flat fee of £150 on campaign completion.

All expressions of interest must be handed in by Friday 29th April.
