Channel OtherDoc - The Quiet Year / The Deep Forest

Greetings! Jim Ryan here.

This September on my Twitch channel (https://www.twitch.tv/otherdoc) I'll be running two one-shots of Buried Without Ceremony's The Quiet Year, a story-focused game in which the players create a post-apocalyptic civilization and guide it through a year of relative peace after a time of conflict. As events unfold, they draw a map of the civilization that's part topographical and part symbolic.

The first one-shot will be the standard game. The second will be The Deep Forest, a re-imagining of the game (written by the same author) that focuses on the lives of a number of monsters living in an enchanted forest during a year of recovery after human colonists have withdrawn. The Deep Forest is available for free from Buried Without Ceremony.

On each of those days, we'll be starting our video chat session at 3:40 PM Eastern time and starting the stream at about 4 PM. The game will run for about 3 hours, ending around 7PM.
