Etobicoke Ringette Association Board of Directors and Key Volunteer Position (KVP) Application
Thank you for your interest in getting involved with Etobicoke Ringette Association!  

As per our ONCA compliance, we have a new structure for our Board of Directors which will be elected at our AGM on Tuesday, June 25th, 2024. All applications will be reviewed by the Board of Directors and brought forward for discussion and appointment at the AGM.  

In addition to Directors, who will vote on matters relating to the Association, we have a number of new and existing Key Volunteer Positions (KVP) with ERA.  A KVP can be appointed at any point throughout the season as their application will be reviewed by the Board, and not voted on by the membership as a whole. 

Key Volunteer Positions may be held by an individual, or a committee of individuals working together to fulfill a specific function within the Association.  As a KVP, you will be supported by a Director.  You may be invited to an occasional Board Meeting, but are not required to attend regularly scheduled Board meetings and do not vote on matters relating to the Association.

Board of Directors
This section applies to positions on our Board of Directors. Unless specified, Directors will hold a 2-year term and must sign the Directors Agreement. 

There are 4 named positions: President, Treasurer (completing 1st of 2 terms), Secretary and Registrar. There are a total of 7 Director positions on the ERA Board of Directors; 4 of which are completing their 1st of 2 terms, and 3 positions available to be filled in the 2024/25 season. 
The following positions are available on our Board of Directors. Please select the position(s) that you are interested in holding. 

The following roles are currently filled: Treasurer, Director - Purchasing, Director - Safety, Director -Development, Director-at-Large.
Key Volunteer Positions (KVP)
Key Volunteers will work with a Director or Member of the Board in a functional area to support the operations and players in the ERA.  These roles may be filled by an individual or group of individuals working together on a small committee. 

Note: Based on the nature of the roles, your involvement may be periodic throughout the season, whereas others are ongoing throughout the season.
