Welcome to the South Portland Public Library's online seed request form!

The SPPL Seed Library was started in partnership with Girl Scouts of Maine Troop 16 in spring of 2019 as a way for the community to share seeds for planting in home gardens. Thanks to the generosity of our patrons who have donated seeds, along with the initial set-up by Troop 16, we now have a well-stocked seed library!  As we are entering prime planting season, we want to make sure these seeds are available to the community. Since we are currently unable to open our physical doors, we are creating a mail-order system so that we can provide access to these seeds while we are all under the current stay-at-home order.
