Open Air Christmas Market Vendor Application Form
This form serves as registration & application to participate in our Open Air Christmas Market on Saturday December 4th as part of Bedford Indiana's - Christmas Around the Square.  We are primarily looking for Christmas Craft Vendors / Gift options.  Informational booths are not our objective for this market and will not be permitted to set up on site.  Vendors will be reviewed and approved by our event coordinators to deem what is the best fit for our event.

The Open Air Christmas Market will be published & promoted as open from 2pm to 7pm on the J Street section of the Downtown Square (between 15th & 16th Streets).  Vendors need to be fully set up & staffed by 1:45pm.  We will not allow for late set up once the market is open at 2pm
Many of our Downtown Merchants will be open for business around the square.  We ALSO have LIVE REINDEER on exhibit from 2pm to 5pm at Harp Commons.  Santa Clause & Barrel Train Rides are offered from 3pm to 5pm.   The Bedford Christmas Parade starts at 6pm.
Vendors are NOT PERMITTED to park inside the Market area.  Some exceptions may apply to food trucks / food vendors.
Public parking is available inside the courthouse square and within a block on all streets outside of the square.  Because of the Parade that takes place around the square - parking will be restricted from the hours of 4pm to 7pm on 15th, I Street (on the square) and on 16th Street.  You may park behind the StoneGate Arts & Education Center...  Bedford Federal Savings Bank & other nearby public parking lots.
Booth Spaces are 10' x 10'.  Booth Fee is $30.  You may add on an additional 10' section for $15 per 10' addition  (i.e. 10' x 20' = $45.... 10' x 30' = $60)
Booth fees are due in advance to secure your space.  Spaces are limited.  PLEASE BE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR BUSINESS NAME ON THE ENVELOPE OR IN THE MEMO LINE OF YOUR CHECK (if not already printed as a business check)

Place in an envelope marked "ATTN:  Susan Gales"  Cash or Checks made payable to BRI are accepted.  We can accept credit cards, however a processing fee will apply.  For credit card payment please email info@downtownbedford.org with your phone number and Susan Gales will contact you to obtain your card information.

The Rules
This form serves as an APPLICATION and does not guarantee approval.  We will contact you if your booth is NOT APPROVED or if there is a conflict in items sold.  Please provide payment to finalize your application.

1.  Vendors are reviewed & accepted on a first come, first serve basis
2.  Vendor acceptance is at the discretion of the Bedford Christmas Around the Square coordinators
3.  If approved, Vendor agrees to abide by the provisions and conditions of this contract for the purpose of renting booth space during Bedford's Christmas Around the Square on Saturday December 4th, 2021

3a.  Vendor will not display, sell or maintain any alcoholic beverages, fireworks, or drug paraphernalia and further agrees to remove any items deemed hazardous or not in the public interest.
3b. The Vendor hereby releases the City of Bedford, the property owners, and anyone associated with Bedford Revitalization, Inc. of any liability for loss, damage, or injury to person or persons.
3c. Exhibition date is Saturday December 4, 2021.  Vendors will remain set up between the hours of 2pm.-7p.m. at the price listed above.  Vendors provide their own tables and cover.  Spaces are approximately 10’ X 10’.  Should more space be necessary, please specify (additional charge of $15 per 10’ extension applies).  Only the space requested will be made available on day of the festival.  Additional space is granted to display merchandise from a single vendor.  Vendors may not share a space / space extension with a separate business.  Each vendor will need to apply for their own individual space.



All vendors are subject to inspection by the Lawrence County Health Department and Bedford Fire Department prior to or during hours of operation. PLEASE CONTACT LAWRENCE COUNTY HEALTH INSPECTOR BRENDA CUMMINGS AT 812-275-3234 BEFORE NOVEMBER 19TH TO OBTAIN A LAWRENCE COUNTY FOOD PERMIT.

Please be sure to bring an extension cord with you.  We recommend 50 feet, but if you have longer or more than one it can be helpful.  Please bring a power strip with you if you need more than one access point to plug in.
