Thank you for becoming a member of Cultural Crossroads of Minden, Inc.!! You are now a part of Webster Parish's ONLY 501c3 Arts, Culture, and Agriculture organization! That's a pretty big deal! We have served the community for over 25 years, and have had a TON of fun while doing it!
Our mission is to unite all people through the arts with the social belief that true culture is that which works for the social benefit of all.
This group is for members who have paid their annual dues. In this group, we will announce meeting times, event details, harvest times for crops, and other general information that is important to your membership.
Benefits of your membership include:*
- 25% off 1 rental per year
- FREE admission into any Cultural Crossroads held event or club
- First notification of when crops are ready to harvest
- Opportunity to join our Board of Directors after one year of membership**
Requirements to receive benefits:
5 Volunteer Hours
Pay $30 membership fee
The annual membership fee is $30 PER INDIVIDUAL. Any benefits received do not apply to more than one person. A household does not receive more benefits than an individual. Rental benefits cannot be combined to receive a discount of more than 50% off 2 rentals per year. FREE admission to events or clubs does not apply to more than one person in a household. Membership MUST be purchased by EACH individual who wishes to receive benefits.
Harvesting of crops will happen on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED basis. The amount that each member will be able to harvest will depend on the production of each crop. Harvest dates will be announced as crops become ready, with designated dates and times for all members to come. We will try our best to make sure that every member gets something, but please keep in mind that as we grow, so will our crops! The more money we raise through membership dues, donations, sponsorship, and the more our members volunteer their time to maintain our gardens, the greater the harvests will be.
While mandatory volunteer hours are required, please understand that we have always and will always be dependent on the volunteer efforts of our membership. There are many ways in which you can pitch in! Please be sure to fill out your membership profile, so that we can all understand how you would like to help out.
Unless you are on the Board of Directors, you are not required to attend quarterly meetings, but we encourage all members to attend, voice your opinion or concerns, and be in the know of what's going on within the organization. Should you agree to join a committee, you should attend the committee meetings called by your committee chairman every time it is possible for you to do so, and to complete the tasks assigned by the chairman.

**Members are only eligible for board nomination after regular attendance of quarterly board meeting. Board members voted on in accordance with the by-laws.
