Dear parents,

We are excited to welcome everyone back to Elmwood. As an elementary school we will be following a balanced approach with using both digital and print/written materials for learning. The Everyday Math programme has enhanced online features that we will accessing along with accompanying textbooks and workbooks. This approach will vary with the grade level to meet student developmental needs.

It is our goal that we ensure our students are as independent as they can be with using technology so that if online learning is needed the transition will be as quick and seamless as possible. Students developed their online learning skills during the recent "At-Home Learning" period and we want to continue to support and develop those abilities.

We would  like to learn more about your daughter's access to technology as we are moving towards a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) approach as students can no longer share computers between grades. Please be assured that we have devices that can be distributed to students if needed.
