Thank you for your interest in participating in our “Leaving The Shadows” Suicide Prevention and Awareness walk.

 Suicide is the 2nd leading  cause of death for adolescents ages 15-19 globally. That is the global number. this is tragic and heartbreaking. We believe that the stigma associated with Mental Illnesses is one of the major reasons that youth will not talk about it. We also believe that one story can save many lives.

Behind A Smile is standing up to be a VOICE in the community! We want to give youth a place to not only feel safe, but safe enough to share.

We are committed to giving youth a space to share their story. One of the ways that we are doing this now is The Wall

Would you join us in the fight? Register your team and join us on Sunday, March 20th  at 3 PM for the “Leaving The Shadow” walk. You will laugh! You will cry! You may even win a prize or two! But most importantly, you will raise money to pay for a child to have excellent care before a mental health crisis happens. We look forward to seeing you there!

The walk will be held at Chancellor High School Track and Field.
