StageX: Absurdity is planned to take place on the evening of the 30th of July.

We have got a team of writers and we are looking for 5-6 dedicated directors one for each short play (15-20 minutes long). The plays are zany, comedic, dark, out there & ready for you to put your directing mark on them!

The plays are in and each director will choose the top three plays he or she will like to direct. Then directors will be chosen accordingly.  

Your work will start once assigned a play,  including the option to cast on your own or if you'd like us to assign actors to you. The Stage can help with rehearsal recommendations, but the schedule will be up to you and your actors.

Tech rehearsal will likely take place earlier in the day of the performance, but we might get access to the theater before that.

Each director will have the liberty on deciding how many rehearsals they should have and working their own schedule with their team. Please take into consideration that this is a community theater and completely voluntary based. We expect you to value your own and your team's time and act accordingly.
