About the course: In this course, students will learn the fundamentals of Math III. I will go in order by chapter, covering topics such as functions and their graphs, equations and solutions, sequences and series, and trigonometric properties, By the end of this course, students will understand and be able to describe how functions behave, and they will have a solid foundation in algebra.
Course objectives:
*Students will learn the fundamentals of algebra and problem-solving.
1. Students will be able to describe properties of elementary functions.
2. Students can extract information about a function given its graph and vice versa.
3. Students can sketch graphs given a function.
4. Students will be able to use a variety of methods to solve polynomial equations.
Materials needed: 1-subject Notebook (Be prepared to take organized notes), Computer with internet access - We will be using desmos often. Notes will also be sent out through email.
About the teacher: Adrian Rozario, a rising senior at Evergreen Valley High School, has won academic awards for his performance in mathematics. He often tutors his classmates, taking the time to teach them the underlying concepts for each problem they encounter. He has always received high marks in his math classes. He currently studies calculus. In addition to calculus, Adrian enjoys physics, reading, speech and debate, biking or running, and spending time with friends and family.
