Hello everyone!! We are PIH Engage Miami. PIHE is a global grassroots organization focused on providing medical care and systems building to places in the world that need us. We focus on community-led responses to create a preferential option for the poor. We are hosting a Global Health Trivia Night to raise money for our yearly campaign.

Our campaign this year is to raise money for the Maternal Center of Excellence in Sierra Leone. This will be an addition to a government-run hospital specifically focused on expectant mothers, young children, and mothers post-delivery. Sierra Leone has the third highest rate of maternal mortality in the world. One in seventeen women have a lifetime risk of death due to pregnancy or childbirth. These deaths are entirely preventable. If these women have a place to receive pre and postnatal care and the staff to care for them more mothers and babies will survive. That is our goal, and why we are raising money.

The trivia night is going to be lots of fun. We love a bit of competition, so come ready to win. The suggested donation is $5 per person. If you register with multiple people we suggest a donation of $3 a person. The winner of this trivia night will win a $50 Amazon gift card. We can't wait to see you!
