Abstract Submission
Thank you for your interest in presenting at Archaea Power Hour AME! During the academic year, we facilitate a monthly virtual seminar highlighting the diversity of perspectives, research, education and outreach in the archaea research community. Talks are 10 minutes long, with 5 additional minutes set aside for questions and discussion.

All archaea researchers based in the Americas and Caribbean from undergraduates to tenured professors are encouraged to submit abstracts! Previously, we have had presentations on exciting findings in archaea research, community resources, and educational outreach initiatives. We particularly encourage submissions from undergraduates and early career researchers. If you are a European based researcher, please submit your abstract to the APH-Europa chapter.

IMPORTANT:  The submission deadline to be considered for Feb-May 2023 sessions is Friday December 16th at 11:59 pm EST. However, this application will remain open year round and some talks may be selected on a rolling basis. If you submit an abstract for the following APH session (Fall 2023), the planning committee will contact you later in 2023 about your availability.

If you anticipate needing any type of accommodation or translation assistance (English, Spanish, Portuguese or French) during the meetings (or before), just let us know!
