Has your child started talking to you about the McKinley Jog-a-Thon? It's one of our most popular events at McKinley for a reason! It's fun for the kids and heart-warming for the staff and families to come together to support our school.

But we need your help so we can make the event better - together! Please complete this short survey so we can make this year's Jog-A-Thon a success - there is also an opportunity to sign up to help.  Thank you!

The details: Did you know McKinley's Jog-a-Thon is the school’s largest fundraiser by far with a goal of raising $45,000 for our school? The donations we raise support the PTA-funded supplies (from microscopes to art supplies), assemblies (like that awesome BMX group), events (literacy nights) and much more.

This year's Jog-a-Thon is on Friday, March 6th, 2020 on the track in the big yard. Our kiddos will walk, jog, run and participate as they can around the track with their class during a 30-minute time slot. The PE teachers work on training with the kids leading up to the event. Our kids are asked to collect monetary donations for the school in honor of their run. And there are prizes :)

¿Ha comenzado a hablarle su hijo sobre el McKinley Jog-a-Thon? ¡Es uno de nuestros eventos más populares en McKinley por una razón! Es divertido para los niños y reconfortante para el personal y las familias unirse para apoyar a nuestra escuela.

Pero necesitamos su ayuda para que podamos mejorar el evento, ¡juntos! Complete esta breve encuesta para que podamos hacer que el Jog-A-Thon de este año sea un éxito; también existe la oportunidad de inscribirse para ayudar. ¡Gracias!

Los detalles: ¿Sabía que Jog-a-Thon de McKinley es el recaudador de fondos más grande de la escuela con el objetivo de recaudar $ 45,000 para nuestra escuela? Nuestros niños caminarán, trotarán, correrán y participarán como puedan alrededor de la pista con su clase durante 30 minutos. Los maestros de educación física trabajan en la capacitación con los niños antes del evento. Se les pide a nuestros hijos que recolecten donaciones monetarias para la escuela en honor a su carrera. Y hay premios :)
