2024 Charleston School of Law Moot Court Competition
Welcome to the online registration for the return of the CSOL Moot Court Competition!!

This competition is an interscholastic appellate moot court competition sponsored by the Charleston School of Law with the intent of providing a forum for schools to enhance their moot court teams brief writing and oral argument skills.

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, and will conclude in June 2024 subject to availability of competition space. The registration fee is $500 for each team. Each school may enter one or two teams consisting of either two or three competitors. Registration is not secured until the registration fee is received. Registering online will reserve a team's spot in the competition, but if the registration fee is not received within a week that reserved spot will become available.

The brief problem will be distributed in June 2024 to teams already registered, and will be distributed to subsequently registered teams within two business days of receipt of each team's registration fee.

Public Health Statement *
The Competition plans to proceed in-person but will move online if necessary. The Competition will comply with all public health requirements from federal law, state regulators, and the Charleston School of Law. Restrictions may change and it is possible that by the time of the Competition, a vaccination and/or masks may be required. The Competition encourages you to become vaccinated and get booster shots as permitted so that if such a requirement arises, all interested students and coaches will be able to attend.

Registration Fees
The registration fee may be paid by check or online. Registration is not complete until payment has been received. The fee is $500 for the team a school registers.
