1. By completing an Enrolment Form and paying the course fee instalments you are indicating
your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

2. Acceptance into the course requires a complete Enrolment Form and payment of the
course fee ($450). Without both the participant will not be enrolled.
Enrolment will be confirmed by email.

3. Places in the course will be filled on a first come first serve basis.

Behaviour Management Policy

Please read the copy of our behavioural management policy below. Students will be briefed on their behavioural expectations on the first day.

Behavioural Management Policy
We aim for our courses to be safe, fun, inspiring experiences where young people can explore their potential, learning from both our experts and the others in the class.

Unfortunately, sometimes a participant may be experiencing personal difficulties and express them in such a way that is disruptive to others in the course or may make it difficult for the tutor to conduct the class. If this occurs we will seek to rectify the situation as follows:

1. The course co-ordinator takes the participant aside to discuss the problem in private and how they would like to see the participant's behaviour change.

2. Should the problem continue, course co-ordinator contacts the participant's parent or guardian to request a meeting at the end of class or before the next class to discuss the issue and seek input on a solution and agree on implementation of a code of conduct.

3. Should the problem still continue the participant will be asked not to return to the course.

Being dismissed from the course in this manner will not result in a refund of the course fee.

BULLYING
Intimidation or bullying of any kind will not be tolerated.

We encourage participants to alert the course co-ordinator or Australian Shakespeare Company management if they believe an incident of bullying has occurred.

4. No enrolments will be accepted on the first day of class. All participants must be enrolled in
advance.

5. The course fee is to be paid on time as per your chosen plan. Failing to do so could result in removal from classes.

6. Should four sessions be missed during a term without prior discussion with the course
coordinator, the participant's enrolment will be terminated.

7. The Australian Shakespeare Company reserves the right to deny enrolment or ask an enrolled
participant to leave a course. This will be the last option in a line of disciplinary action as set out
in our Disciplinary Procedure available at Shakespeareaustralia.com.au

8. Should part or all of the course be cancelled by the Australian Shakespeare Company a credit
note will be offered in the place of the cancelled course. Where only part of the course is
cancelled the credit note amount will be pro‐rata.

9. The Australian Shakespeare Company does not accept any responsibility for participants’
personal property during the course.

10. The Australian Shakespeare Company does not accept liability for any personal injury
incurred during the normal conduct of the course.

11. The Australian Shakespeare Company reserves the right to make photographic and/or visual
recordings during the course for inclusion in our archives and for use in the Australian
Shakespeare Company marketing materials.

12. Audio and/or visual recording of any kind by participants is not permitted unless otherwise
advised.

13. Any personal information provided will be collected, used and stored solely in accordance
with our Privacy Policy available at Shakespeareaustralia.com.au

14. Should a participant withdraw from the course after payment has been processed, a credit note will be offered for a future workshop. If a participant withdraws midway through the course the credit note amount will be pro-rata.

15. These terms and conditions are subject to change without notice.
