2020 Atlanta Commercial Board of REALTORS® Mentee Application - Deadline is Monday, August 26th 2019.
Thank you for your interest in applying for the 2020 ACBR Mentorship Program.  For all interested applicants, we strongly encourage you to attend a meet and greet that will take place immediately after the Wednesday, June 19th and Wednesday, July 17th Education Seminars located at the Atlanta REALTORS Center 5784 Lake Forrest Drive, Atlanta, GA 30328.  This will be a great way to meet our mentorship program chairs and prospective mentors.

Mission: This program was established to help provide more exposure for women and minorities in our industry, which was launched in 2014 and had its' first graduating class in 2015. There are only 12 spots available and approximately 24 applicants will be selected to conduct candidate interviews which will take place in September.  The final 12 applicants will be selected in late September and paired with a Mentor prior to the kick-off meeting scheduled on November 13th, 2019.  

This program will offer an exceptional opportunity to be partnered with a leader in the commercial real estate community and provide the benefit of expert guidance, counsel, and inspiration. Throughout the year there will be networking and educational opportunities for you to attend and gain extensive knowledge of commercial real estate. Below are a few events you will participate in as a part of the program. Dates of events will be provided at the kick-off meeting in November.

Please be sure to read the application in its entirety and that all applicable fields are completed. Only 12 spaces are available and applicants will be notified of their acceptance in early October.  

Important Dates to Remember:

Monday, August 26th, 2019 - Application Deadline
Tuesday, September 10th - 1-5 pm - Mentee Interviews at the Atlanta REALTORS Center.  You will be notified with further details if you are selected to interview.  All interviews will be in 15 -20 min increments.
October 2nd, 2019 - 1 pm - 3 pm  - Speed Dating Interview with Prospective Mentors
Wednesday, November 13th, 2019 - 2020 Mentorship Program Kick-Off

CRE Basics & Where are They Now Panel Meet & Greet - Tuesday, August 20th
Date: Tuesday, August 20th 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Where: Atlanta REALTORS Center 5784 Lake Forrest Drive - West Classroom 1
Free of charge, lunch will be provided.

A meet and greet with prospective mentees and mentors, and hear from experts in the industry who will share their knowledge of the different sectors within the industry. Plus a panel discussion to hear from our graduates who have successfully advanced in their career in Commercial Real Estate. We highly encourage all applicants to attend.
MENTOR/MENTEE LUNCH
As a Mentee, your first meeting will be a casual lunch with your Mentor. A great opportunity to meet, talk, ask questions and get to know one another.

Kick Off meeting will take place on November 13th.

ACBR EDUCATION SEMINARS
With your Mentor, we encourage you to attend the CBR monthly education programs, where you will have the opportunity to meet many successful real estate leaders in the industry. Seminars are held on the 3rd Wednesday of most months.  

Education Seminars - takes place on the 3rd Wednesday of every month except in March and December.

ACBR MDC (Million Dollar Club) BANQUET
You will have the opportunity to attend the Million Dollar Club banquet for free.  There will be a table reserved for all of the 2020 Mentees.  This is a great networking opportunity to meet some of the industry Top Producers.

ACBR COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT
Our Board has given over 1 million dollars to charity over the last decade.  Attend the Spring Fling and volunteer at one of our ACBR volunteer opportunities with your Mentor.

Community Service Volunteer Project - various volunteer opportunities are offered throughout the year.

YCR FREE CE CLASS
Meet the YCR Advisory Committee and attend the YCR Free CE Program.  Past programs have included the latest market trends in Commercial Real Estate which has included a Bus or Walking Tour in past years.

Free CE Class will take place in April.

PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER
Recap of the 2020 program and provide feedback for the next program.  Hear from key leaders on what took place during the year, what challenges that were faced and how you can assist in the future.  Select an area of interest to become involved in 2021.
