This survey is being conducted to gather feedback from staff, students, and parents regarding three options for how we move forward with inclement weather days.  

The Sparta Area School District would like feedback from our students, parents, and staff regarding our handling of inclement weather days going forward.

This year, we have a new tool in our toolkit, Virtual Learning, that gives us a new option for how we address inclement weather days. Now that we have had the opportunity to try this new option, we would like to hear from you.

Please review the 3 options below and rank them in your first, second, and third preference. You also can provide any feedback.

Option 1: Traditional Inclement Weather Days
   -  Day off for students, no virtual learning
   -  Highest level of probability for adding days to the end of the school year

Option 2: Virtual Learning on Inclement Weather Days
   -  Learning occurs regardless of weather conditions
   -  Highest level of certainty regarding school year end date

Option 3: First two inclement weather days are traditional days off.  Additional inclement weather days will be virtual learning days.
   -  Balance of the first two options
   -  Moderate to high level of certainty regarding school year end date
